the chambourcin (with a small violet halo) from the Black Lagoon! like much of the 2006 vintage this wine takes its time to emerge. but then it does so with a heady herbaceous nose joined by marshmallow, musk, & strawberry.


bright cherries, mandarin, & liquorice soften to expose spice & red apple with a chewy candy texture that tingles the tongue like sherbet.

break all the rules & try pairing with an Indian curry, a seafood marinara, or even a cheesecake.
