fresh out of storage, this wine was originally destined for export. but we had such an overwhelmingly positive response at tastings that we've labelled it for release locally. the 2005 represents quite a departure from our more typical medium-bodied styles. this is a dark cherry & aniseed, brooding, red-blooded, full bodied shiraz that stormed out of a disastrous season which saw the vineyard devastated by a category F2 tornado.
